Edged has an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Platform Engineer. In this position you will work directly with the IoT Platform team and be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the Azure cloud infrastructure that supports the data acquisition and telemetry of Endeavour’s portfolio of projects and assets. We are looking for someone with a broad, generalist knowledge of public cloud infrastructure and automation. The DevOps Platform Engineer will support development of infrastructure software with project teams and must be comfortable with modern approaches to testing and code reviews.

• Configure, deploy, maintain, and upgrade Azure and Office 365 environments
• Automate processes including application and infrastructure deployment and incident remediation
• Develop IoT Platform architecture in collaboration with Director, IoT Platform
• Monitor and Maintain IoT Platform operation for availability, performance, reliability, security, etc. using tools like Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, Azure Log Analytics, or similar
• Assist with the operation of the Development Environment
• Support rollout and onboarding of new projects into the platform
• Light software development, scripting and API integration, as needed
• Optimize IoT Platform to balance cost and performance
• Develop tools to monitor IoT Platform
• Develop scripts to automate workflows

• 3+ years’ experience with Azure cloud technologies
• 2+ years’ experience with Azure IoT components: digital twins, IoT Hub, service bus, etc.
• 3+ years managing large scale deployments
• Strong experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft based production systems
• Strong understanding of cloud, automation, and infrastructure
• Experience working with and handling time-series/telemetry data and databases
• Experience with and supporting software development lifecycle
• Experience in writing code, QA/QC, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with IoT projects

• Experience with .NET (C#) and JavaScript programming
• Expert skills with PowerShell scripting and reading/analyzing Web technologies such as JSON, HTML, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, etc.
