NEW YORK, NY – (April 21, 2025) – Endeavour, the gigawatt scale sustainable infrastructure platform, announced today the launch of its Impact Group, a pioneering initiative designed to drive net-positive infrastructure solutions at scale. As industries worldwide invest in next-generation digital and physical infrastructure, with global investment in data centers estimated at more than $2 trillion by 2030, Endeavour is poised to transform the future of energy, water, and materials usage.
The Impact Group, led by established climate-resiliency and sustainable design expert Beth Rattner, will amplify the scope and visibility of Endeavour’s suite of technologies. Rattner, formerly Executive Director of the Biomimicry Institute and Executive Director and Vice President of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, brings the lens of nature-inspired design to the table.
“We can do great things with digital infrastructure if we optimize for beneficial design that generates value for the whole community or region,” said Beth Rattner. “Data centers could be net producers of water, power, and safe materials, even food security. It starts with looking beyond the data center walls, to all local inputs and reconsidering the desired outputs.”
The Impact Group will pursue two core initiatives:
- Pursuing Collaborative, Transformative Infrastructure Projects: Working with regional partners to develop case study projects that demonstrate the value of system design and linking technologies to local needs, like clean energy, water and safer materials.
- Identifying Needs and Transitional Technologies: Collaborating with universities and NGOs to strategically invest in solving problems through appropriate, leapfrog technologies.
